Australia Plays Tasmania WOODFULL KNOCKS UP 124 HOBART, March 16. The match between Australia and Tasmania was continued to-day at Hobart in greatly improved weather and the attendance was over 5000. Tasmania (seven for 230) resumed batting on a good wicket and furnished a pleasant surprise through James and Parry, both of whom batted brilliantly, nqtably James, who scored 70 in 55 mint utes, the ninth wicket adding 77 in 34 minutes. James hit eight fours. Parry revealed a surprisingly good array of strokes and was unconquered with 30. The innings realised 338, made in 312 minutes, Australia made a good start with Woodfull and Brown, who put on 200 in 142 minutes. Woodfull got a century and then began to hit and was stumped for 124 made in 150 minutes, including one six and four fours. Brown went for 98 made in 163 minutes, including six fours.
