Last night the Napier Frivolity Minstrels, popularly known as the “Frivs", added another generous act to their already long list of good deeds done on behalf of a worthy cause. They gave an entertainment at the new assembly hall of the Napier Boys’ High School, in support of the fund which has been organised as a means to defray the cost of the building. In expressing thanks to the “Frivs” and their orchestra, Mr H. E. Edgley, chairman of the Parents’ League, said that the sum of money raised last night would enable tho committee to repay the amount due on the building and leave a small amount, which will go towards the furnishings.
