Simpson (Wellington Municipal Tramways) 89 3 The winner, tho second competitor at the festival to score 99 points, put tip a great performance, tho judge said. Wills was an excellent soloist with a glorious tone and a player after his own heart. It was a magnificent rendering of a beautiful solo. The second player gave a fine and careful performance. TROMBONE TRIO “The Three Trombonists” (T. Clough) Judge, Captain Buckley. St. Kilda Municipal, 93 1 Nelson Garrison, 92 2 Christchurch Municipal 90 3 Queen Alexandra’s Own, 90 3 | Tho winning trio gave a delightful rendering, The members of the trio, said Captain Buckley, were quite sympathetic and seemed to understand one another very well.
