fl fl Tennis Championship Match (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 22. The Canterbury provincial tennis championships opened in fine weather. The courts are slow after overnight rain. The matches played in the morning were mainly men's and women’s singles and the only surprise was when N. G. Norbert-Munns ran the New Zealand champion Malfroy to 19 —12 in the first set of the match Malfroy won 12 —10. 6—3.
