PRIMARY SCHOOLS CRICKET

NAPIER COMPETITION TO-DAY DRAW FOR THE SEASON The Napier primary schools’ cricket competition begins at Nelson Park this afternoon. The matches begin at 3.30 o’clock and stumps will be drawn at 5.45 o'clock. Points are allotted as follow: Outright win 4, win on first innings 3, loss on first innings 1, draw or tie 2 each. For this season it has been decided that a lead of 50 runs on the first innings should be considered sufficient to give that side the power to order the other to follow on. Following is the draw for the season:— A GRADE First round.—lntermediate A v. Intermediate C, Intermediate B v. To Awa. Taradale v. Marist, Port a bye. Second round.—lntermediate A v.
