HUGHES AND FITZGERALD DRAW. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. 12. Hard battling and a distinct advantage in in-fighting enabled Archie Hughes to draw with Jack Fitzgerald when the two professional lightweights met in the Town Hall to-night. On the whole it was Fitzgerald’s contest in the majority of the 15 rounds. The Australian outboxed his opponent and introduced himself as a boxer with a fast right and sound defence.
