Children’s Night To-night To-night is the great occasion of the Mayor’s Christinas party for children,’ and at half-past six there will bo a' thousand or more little boys and girls ready to nieet. Santa Claus in the Drill Hall, and to receive a gift, from him. There is a toy for every one of them, and the organisation has been so thorough that so far as is known there has not been on© deserving child left uninvited. The children will be given a minor feast of those things that are indispensable to a child’s enjoyment at this time of the yeai, including fizzy drinks and ices It will no doubt be a highly exciting occasion fur th" little boys and girls, and rather more than that for the organisers of the party.
