BREAKINC-UP CEREMONY. SPORTS MEETING AND PICNIC. From Our Own Correspondent. The breaking-up ceremony in connection with the Waipawa District High School took the form yesterday of a combined sports meeting and picnic on Coronation Park, with the distribution of prizes in the afternoon, at which the Rev. R. B. Waugh, representative of the Middle Ward on the Education Board, officiated. The weather was Ideal, and the ehildten spent a really happy day. Limbrick Bros’, public address system was in operation, and besides broadcasting the results of events rendered musical selections at intervals. Following is the prize list: — PRIMARY DEPARTMENT.
