£30,000 WORTH SEIZED CONFISCATED IN ENGLAND LONDON, August 17. The Customs confiscated 60,000 opossum skins valued at £30,000, shipped from Sydney. An earlier message from Sydney said that Australian detectives working in conjunction with Scotland Yard had unearthed extensive illegal traffic in opossum skins, which had been shipped to London either as rabbit or fox skins secreted in wool bales.
