ARGENTINE EVASIONS REDUCTION OF FOREIGN IMPORTS LONDON, April 26. Mr R. G. Pernman, director of William Angliss, told the ‘ Sun” that Australian and New Zealand beef had aaveruly slumped in view of the Argentine evasions, especially the landing of meat in Britain as offal. The trade was requesting Agencies General to co-operate with a deputation io Mr J. ,H. Thomas to urge substantial reductions of foreign beef imports.
