DISPLAY HIGHLY PRAISED. RESULTS OF JUDGING. LONDON, April 29. Smithfield critics highly praise the display of 180 lambs entered at the New Zealand Meat Board’s South Island district competition. Southland won the challenge shield, with South Canterbury second, East Southland third and North Canterbury fourth.

W. Kennedy (Otautau) won the first prize for the best three pens, with F. Charles (South Canterbury) second and J. Grant (Otautau) third.
