MRS BONNEY’S PROGRESS. HOP-OFF FOR SINGAPORE BATAVIA, April 18. Mrs Bonney arrived here on Monday morning and resumed her flight for Singapore at 6.30 this morning. N.Z. AIRWAYS PURCHASE. TRIPLJC-ENGINED ’PLANE. SYDNEY, April 18. At an auction of machines owned by Australian National Airways (in liquidation), the passenger plane Southern Sky was purchased on behalf of Mr H. M. McKay, managing director of New Zealand Airways, at a price of £2150. The plane will remain in Sydney pending advice from New Zealand. It is a triple-engined craft, with a rapacity for eight passengers.
