HASTINGS WOMEN’S LEAGUE

The usual “happv afternoon’’ was held in the Trades Hall last Thursday. Another lesson was given in boys’ knicker making. A*visitor exhibited some woollen "arments which had been made from the wool in its natural state. She explained the different proeos'tps of cleaning, dveintr and spinning, and promised a demonstration on April 27. She will make some spindles tn enable those present to trv their prowess at spinning Vfternnon ton and the singing of “Tho Women’s n rnrc Armv Sone” oon f ludod a very happy and interesting afternoon. Next Thursday at 2.30 Mrs Bollerby will bo in charge, and a very happy afternoon is assured. Visitors are reminded of their contribution to afternoon tea and *lso their Id for the sick fund.
