WEDDING

TRASK—McDU V GALL. Ou Easter Monday the wedding tool place at St. Andrew’s Church, Hastings, of Winifred McDougall, daughter of Mr and Mrs W. McDouglall, Hastings, and Eric James Trask, sou of the late Mr W. J. Trask and Mrs Trask. The Bev. D. J. A. Shaw officiated. The church had been prettily decorated by friends of the bride for the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful gown of parchment satin made long in a graceful design with panels at the back and front and a flared skirt, a pearl brooch finishing the neck. A tulle veil was caught by clusters of orange blossoms, and a sheaf of chrysanthemums, cream roses and maidenhair fern was carried. Miss Beatrice Trask, sister of the bridegroom, attended the bride, wealing a pretty frock of blue georgette with a cowl neckline and little coatee, and a hat of blue felt, also shoes to tone; and a sheaf of pink roses, carnations, and asparagus fern completed the ensemble. Mr Jack Hannon was best man. Miss A. Lock played appropriate music and also Mendelssohn's Wedding March as the bridal party left the church. Guests were entertained by Mr and Mrs McDougall at the Rialto tearooms, where a wedding bell and pink and blue flowers and fern effectively decorated the table. The two-tiered cake was cut by the bride, and many toasts were honoured Mrs McDougall wore a becoming frock of brown celauese, with a beige vestee, brown straw hat and shoes to tone, and her bouquet was of autumn tinted flowers. Mrs Trask, mother of f the bridegroom, was attired in brown I floral marocain and a brown Mt hat, and her bouquet was in golden and amber tones. Later the bride and bridegroom were farewelled bv their friends as they left, by car for the south, the bride wearing an ensemble of smartly tailored blue tweed, and a blue felt hat, with shoes, hose, and gloves to tone in colour. Mrs Cook grandmother of the bride, was present in black satin and a lace coat and black hat; Messrs J. and L McDougall (brothers of the bride). Mr and Mrs J. 1 (s> railnrd) Miss Hunter <Am k land).
