U.S. AMBASSADOR’S TRAIN
WRECKING ATTEMPTED IN MEXICO. U.S. AMBASSADOR IN MEXICO. MEXICO CITY, April 15. Mr Hoscphus Daniels, the United States Ambassador, arrived to-day. His reception at the station was without incident. He was preceded from the train by a dozen detectives, while more than 200 policemen and detectives were on duty in the station. Tho police disclosed that an attempt was made on Friday to wreck Mr Daniels’ train. A section of the rail was taken out near the town of Morales, 50 miles north of Monterey, but the attempt was discovered in time.
