ANTARCTIC FLIGHT

BALCHEN SAILS FOR NORWAY. WILKINS TO JOIN LATER. NEW YORK, April 12. Mr. Bennet Balchen, accompanied by members of his family and an aeroplane mechanic, sailed for Norway today aboard the Stavengerfjord, on which was his aeroplane to be used in the proposed Antarctic flight. It is understood that Sir Hubert Wilkins has been delayed. With Mr. Lincoln Ellsworth he will join the expedition later. The expedition will arrive in New Zealand some time after August 1.
