Following is the Government Meteorologist’s summary and forecast for the Central,, East and North-East districts for the 48 hours from 9 o’clock to-day: Summary: A westerly depression is now passing away eastwards and an anti cyclone is moving onto the north Tasman Sea. Pressure is still much Tiigher, however, in the northern than in the southern portions of the Dominion. Forecast: Moderate to frosh west te south-west winds. Weather fair to fine. Seas moderate.
