SCHOOL COLOURS

OBJECTING TO PIRATING. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 13. Strong objections were raised at last night’s meeting of representatives of school and other organisations from all parts of New Zealand, including universities, to alleged pirating by unauthorised persons of blazers and badges. It was decided to take steps to secure, if possible, some form of protective legislation against abuse, speakers stated that each school took pride in its own colours and it was painful to see unauthorised persons wearing them. Others said it was difficult to see how blazers could be protected, but the badges should be.
