Al a meeting of the New South Wales Cricket Association body-lin* I bowling was denounced by Mr E. Idle association resolved iinaiiimouaiv "that body-line bowling is against tho best interests of the game and thia association urges all affiliated clubs and associations to discourage it.” Mr Dwyer said: “We must removo this insidious canker from the gam* and if we do not I sincerely hope th«| Australia will not send a team to Eng. land (hear, hear). Last season I saw some of our most prominent batsmen almost battered out of the game.
