MOTOR CYCLE RACING

EASTER MONDAY FIXTURES. NUMEROUS ENTRIES. The entries for the Napier Motor Cycle Club’s race meeting, which takes place at the Napier Park racecourse on Easter Monday, are exceptionally good. There are over 50 competitors taking part in all events. All the best riders of the Dominion are competing in both the North Island lightweight championship and the Hawke’s Bay middleweight championship. There is every likelihood of a keen contest in both these events, as such expert riders as Percy Coleman, Harry Mangham, Tui Morgan, Reg. Ranby, D. Collison, C. Goldberg (the Auckland crack rider), Skid McLeod (the Flying Scot) and a score of others will be competing. The club executive has spared no expense to provide for the comfort and interest of patrons. A large scoring board has been made so that the public can take an interest in the various riders and at any time during the progress of a race the position of each rider can easily be obtained. Taking everything into consideration, the public are assured of a thrilling afternoon’s sport. The prices have been reduced considerably. Admission to the grounds is 1/- (boys 6d) and admission to lawns is 2/9 (including tax), boys 1/-.
