MAY RETIRE SOON
SIB AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN'S PLANS. (Received 17, 10.30 a.m.) London, March 16. Sir Austen Chamberlain in a speech at Birmingham hinted at his early retirement from Parliament. “Any political ambitions I have ever cherished lie buried in the past,” he said. “It may not he long before I seek relief from the prolonged hard labour that I have gone through.”
