RETURN TASMAN FLIGHT

SOUTHERN CROSS TO TAKE OFF ON MARCH 26. FROM NINETY-MILE BEACH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Blenheim, March 17. It is now definite that, weather permitting, the Southern Cross will take off from Ninety Mile Beach on March 26 on the return flight to Australia. Mr. J. Percival, the Sydney journalist, will not make the return trip across the Tasman Soa, his place being taken by Mr. H. M. McKay, of Dunedin. Mr. J. T. Pettybridge, of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith’s own staff, will occupy the other passenger seat. The monoplane put in a busy day here, the flights including a visit to Nelson, when the ’plane circled the city but did not land.
