Mrs M. Spriggs, of Cameron road, Napier, has donated a Bell organ to be used in the services at the Napier Hospital. In a letter to the Hawke’s Bay Hospital Board the Rev. 11. Gould said the instrument possessed a good tone and was much easier.to play than the old instrument which suffered damage during the earthquake. Mr A. B. Bedfori and the chairman (Mr C. O. Morse) joined in expressing the thanks of tho board to Mrs Spriggs, and to Barry Bros, for transporting the organ. The old one had been out of order since the ’quake, commented Mr Morse, and the new instrument would be greatly appreciated by those who attended the services. in its motion of thanks the hoard linked the name of the Rev. H. Gould, whose efforts in making an appeal had achieved such a happy result.
