EXPORT FAT-STOCK PRICES
SCHEDULE FURTHER REDUCED. LAMBS AND WETHERS. Wellington, March IS. Due to the continued decline in price* at the Smithfield market, a further eut was made to-day in the export fatstock price schedules from the North Island. The reduction is a farthing pel pound for all grades of lambi and wethers under 48, and from 49 to 66 pounds, one-eighth of a penny down. For all other grades of wethers there is no alteration. No change ia made in the price of ewes. PRICES NOW OFFERING. EXPORT MEAT SCHEDULES. The prices now offering for lamb* and wethers have been altered in Hawke’s Bay in accordance with th* reduction operating at Wellington. Lamb prices;— Under 361h5., 44d; 37-42, 3}d; 42 and over, 2}d; seconds, 3Jd. Wethers: —Under 481bs. 2|d; 49-56, 26-8 d; 57-64 , 2*d; 65-72, Hd; over 72. Ifd; seconds. 21d. Ewe prices remain unchanged. Under 481b5., l}d; 49-56, Id; 57-64. ld| 65-72, Jd; over 72, |d; seconds, Id.
