A request to the Government to postpone the necessity to sign form U B 32, requiring particulars from unemployed relief workers, was made in a. resolution at a public meeting at New Plymouth last night The hall was filled. A meeting of the relief branch of the Labourers’ Union decided to refuse to sign the forms. The member for New Plymouth (Mr 8. G. Smith) is to be asked to call a public meeting to justify the Government's policy.
