SWIMMING
THE MAHORA CLUB. A committee meeting of the Mahora Swimming Club was held on Monday. Present: Messrs. Horne, Hardy, Crawford, Graham, Harris, Waldie and McDuff. The programme for March 23 was arranged as follows:—Schoolchildren, 50yds.; junior boys, 50yds.; junior girls, 50yds.; intermediate, 50yds.; ladies, 50yds.; open, 50yds.; diving; and teams’ race. It was decided to enter Misses Roulston and Morrin for the Luke Wilson Cup on Tuesday evening. The Napier Club intimated their intention of playing a polo match against Mahora on Thursday evening. The finals of the club championships are to be swum this (Tuesday evening). HAVELOCK NORTH CLUB-TO-MORROW NIGHT’S PROGRAMME. Following is the programme for tomorrow night’s swimming carnival at the Havelock North baths: — Schoolboys, 25 yards; schoolgirls, 25 yards; school teams, 75 yards ; learners’ diving; Newbigin Cup, 75 yards (final); senior Scouts, 75 yards (final); Nimon Cup diving; ladies’ 50 yards; open 220 yards: intermediate 75 yards, Millar Cup; diving; medley. 75 yards; senior dash, 25 yards; senior teams’
