SUDDEN DEATH

FOUND DEAD IN BED INQUEST TO BE HELD. A single man, Erik Wilhelm Erickson, aged about 33 years, was found dead in his bed at No. 33 Faraday street, Napier, early this morning. The deceased, who followed the occupation of roof-tiler, apparently enjoyed normal health, for on Sunday he spent the afternoon bathing with • friend. He was boarding at Faraday street at the boarding-house of Mr Ji. Giles. On Sunday evening he retired at about 11 o’clock, and when Mr Gila* went to his room at 6.30 o’clock this morning, Erickson was lying dead in his bed, with his face buried u th* pillow. Mi Giles immediately summoned Constable J. Kenny, who brought with him a doctor. The latter ascertained that life was extinct, after which the body was removed to the public morgue. An inquest is to be held iu due course.
