MELBOURNE AND PERTH. ACTIVE BUYING. ' (United Press Association— By CableCopyright.) (Received 1, 10.50 a.m.) Melbourne, November 1. The October wool sales closed with the market practically at par. In the last week Japan and the Continent were buying freely. At Perth the third series of wool sales met good competition, Continental and Bradford buyers being active. Crossbred fleece was firm and lambs’ stronger. The best price was 13id for super merino. BRADFORD MARKET. (Received 1, 11.30 a.m.) London, October 31. The Bradford market is firm with fine merinos and crossbreds hardening owing to the depreciation of sterling.
