Frivolity Minstrels Delayed.

Owing to their bus having engine trouble at Clive, the Nnpier Frivolity Minstrels who travelled to Elsthorpe on Thursday evening were held up on the road for over an hour, with the result that their conceit did not commence until 9.45 o’clock in the evening and finished at midnight. In spite of the lateness of their arrival at Elsthorpe, the hall was well filled, the audience having been entertained with selections given by the Frivolity orchestra, which had travelled in a private car. More trouble greeted the troupe on their return journey, for the bus ran out of benzine near the Waitangi dip and had to be towed in to Napier, arriving there at 3 o’clock yesterday morning.
