SUGAR DISPUTE
PROPOSAL TO REDUCE OUTPUT ACCEPTED. (United Press Association—By Cable— Copyright.) (Received 31, 11.25 a.m.) Brussels, March 30. The dispute between Java and Cuba regarding sugar production is settled, both accepting the European and Peruvian representatives’ proposal to reduce their respective exports by the amount Java produces in excess of 1,500,000 tons.
