Clothes for the Destitute.

The Napier branch of the Church Army is in pressing need of clothing for the homeless and destitute men who are given shelter at the headquarters in Shakespeare road. No clothes, however old or out-of-date, would be refused by the offieer-in-charge, and any person who feels kindly disposed to make such gifts for their lessfortunate fellow-men are invited to send parcels to Captain Kirby, Shakespeare road. In the event of a donor not being able to do this, a call would gladly be made by an official of the army in reply to a telephone message at No. 79GS. Quo hoars very little of the grand work being constantly carried out by the Church Army, which prefers to give hope and assistance to the destitute without any publicity.
