A start is to be made very shortly bv the Hawke’s Bay County Council with the bitumen sealing of the roadway through the To Auto cutting. With tho dry weather that is ruling at the pre sent time this particular portion of tho main road is very dusty and also is not in very good condition because of tho amount of traffic which uses it. When it is tar sealed there will be an almost unbroken extent of bitumen or concrete roadway from Napier to past Waipukuraiu
