The London Mascot.
The London mascot, Gilbert’s almuninium statue of Eros, was re-erected in Piccadilly Circus at midnight. Eros was removed in 1925 during the reconstruction of tho underground station. It has been cleaned and nowgleams in silvery beauty. Fire in Railway Shops. At Altoona, Pennsylvania, a fire on Sunday destroyed the shops of Pennysylvania Railroad Company. The damage to the shops and equipment is estimated at between 1,500,000 and 2,000,000 dollars.
