WOOL STORES DISPUTE
AUSTRALIAN FARMERS’ ACTION. LOADING BOATS THEMSELVES Perth, Dec. 6. The industrial dispute at the wool stores resulted in six steamers sailing in the past week without wool cargoes. Pastoralists and the Employers’ Association are now organising volunteer labour to take the wool to a ship sailing on December 12, and if the watersiders refuse to handle it, the farmers will put it aboard.
