MINISTER OF FINANCE UNABLE TO COME. SUGGESTS REPRESENTATIONS BE PLACED BEFORE COMMITTEE. In connection with the work of rehabilitation in Napier. Mr W. E. Barnard, M.P., received word this afternoon from the Hon. W. Downie Stewart, Minister of Finance, regretting that it was impossible for him to visit Napier this week. He suggested that representations be placed before the Rehabilitation Committee at its meeting on 15th inst.
