CONCLUDING DAY’S RESULTS A BIG TOTALISATOR DROP Tactnarunui, Dec. u. The Taumarunui Racing Club’s meeting concluded to-day in fine weather. The attendance was only fair. The track was in excellent order. The totalisator handled £3174, as compared with £6730 for the second day last year, the total for the meeting being £5546, as compared with £13,060 last year. Results: — President’s Handicap. — 1 Flying Prince (Gray), 2 King Willonyx (Manson) and 5 Cruachan (Carmont) (dead heat) 2. Also ran: 3 Limeen, 4 Lady Vane, 6 Abbey Queen. Won by a head. For the Ashburton summer meeting fine weather prevailed, the track being hard and dusty, and the attendance small. The totalisator handled £5703 10s as against £7401 for the eight events last year.
