TOTE DECLINES. NEW PLYMOUTH HANDICAP TO MELISSA. New Plymouth, Dec. 27. The Taranaki Jockey Club’s meeting wgs concluded in hot, fine weather. Though the attendance was good the tote showed a decline on the day of £4,582. The machine handled £13,553, against £18,135. For the meeting the total was £30,489, compared with £42,317 10/-, a decrease of £11,828 10/-. Late results:— Tarata Hack Hurdles, 1} mile and 100 yards.—2 Mr. F. C/E. Mackay’s Royal Damon 11.4 (J.
