The December number of this excellent quarterly is a delight to handle and to peruse. Five lovely colour blocks. fourteen pages of striking black-and-white reproductions. interesting articles and some good specimens of poetry go to the making of a magazine that most assuredly appeals to all lovers of New Zealand art. Representative works by wellknown New Zealand artists at home and abroad are reproduced in most enjoyable style. This particular number will make a suitable and acceptable gift to friends overseas.
