Transvaal m the first innings made 176—Taylor 46; Peebles five for 45, White three for 13. Marylebone in the second innings lost three for 65. When the Transvaal’s score stood at 105 four wickets fell without the addition of a single run. Peebles at ono stage had an average of three wickets lor four runs.
