NAPIER CLUB’S TROPHIES. FUNCTION ON SATURDAY. Basketball players from every club in Napier assembled In the Cosmopolitan Concert Hall on Saturday afternoon, when the Mayor of Napier (Mr J. Vigor Brown) presented the trophies won by teams during the past season. The prizes presented were:— Vigor Brown Cup and 9 replicas.— E-High School A (1). Clark Cup.—St. Joseph’s, A section. Kiwi Cup,—Kiwi Club, A team. O’Rourke Cup (B grade open).— Convert Old Girls. Kiwi Cup (schools). —Convent B. grade. C. Grade Shield.—Hukarere School. Rovers’ Challenge Cup.—Ex-High School A (1). After the presentations Mrs Boyce was asked to accept a bouquet as a mark of appreciation from all present. Afternoon tea was handed round and musical items given by members of each club.
