The honi* side won by 39 to 22. The tourists had the best of the early portion of a game that is best described as ragfxed, and the first epell ended; Metropolis 18, New Zealand 9. The game became warmly contested and Treweeke and Calder were ordered off for rough play. The game ended: Metropolis 39, New Z»?aland 22.
