First life: Mrs Hogan, 26 beat Mrs Boocock, 19; Mrs Darrell. 26 beat. Mrs Yates, 23; Mrs Lowry, 26 beat Mrs Henderson, 18. Second life: Sirs Watkins beat Mrs Tiffen, 23; Mrs Matthewson, 26 beet Mrs Pitcaithly. 22; Mrs Henderson won.by default from Miss McFarlane. HANDICAPS. Doubles—Mrs Matthewson and Mra Pitcaithley, 26 beat Mrs Gowing and Mrs Boocock, 14. Singles, A Grade: Mrs Heenan, 26 beat Mra Freedman, 2; Mrs Caldow, 26 beat Mrs Eason. 18. TODAY’S PLAY. Play was resumed to-day under excellent weather conditions, the games resulting as follows: — CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES. Third Round. Second life: Mrs Mouat 26 beat Mrs Dan ell 23; Mrs Henderson peat Miss McFarlane by default. HANDICAPS. Doubles, semi-final: Mrs Caldow and Mrs Henderson beat Mrs L<wry and Watkins, 26—14.
