CONFERENCE PROCEEDING. (By Radio—Special to Press Association.) • Apla, March 6. The conference between the Administrator, the Hon J. G. Cobbe and the Mau is proceeding. It met yesterday and this morning and will meet again this afternoon. Beyond the conversational stage, nothing of importance has transpired. The territority is quiet. There ar» large bodies of the Mau in Apia and the surrounding districts. CONFERENCE CONCLUDED.
(Special to Press Assn.—By Radio.) (Received 7, 2.15 p.m.) Apia, March 7. The conference between the Administrator, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe and the Mau closed yesterday. With regard to the Administrator’s points, the Samoans were not favourable to the breaking up of the organisation, no opposition would be made to the wanted men being arrested, and it ia understood that the Samoans will return to their villages. The Administrator said he would
meet representatives of the people st any time at Mulinuu, Apia or Vailima to discuss matters of benefit to the country.
