ROYAL INVESTITURE
KING AGAIN PRESENT.
[British Official Wireless.l (Received 7, 12.30 p.m.) Rugby, Mar. 6.
His Majesty the King held a second investiture at Buckingham Palace today. The investiture, in contrast to the official one on Tuesday, was private, and morning dress was worn. The 90 recipients of honours and decorations were drawn from all ranks of life, and included a miner and a seaman. The King presented nine medals for gallantry in saving life at sea. Some of these were in connection with rescues from ships in distress during the tempestuous gales of last year.
