Colonel Brinsmead, Director of Civil Aviation, forecasted that in a few years Australia would probably see in her commercial services giant air machines of the Dornier type with a wing span of 150 feet and of great capacity. In four years’ time there would be services to Inflia, South Africa and probably Australia from Europe with machines carrying from 60 to 80 passengers.
