£15,000 DAMAGE AT AUCKLAND.

Auckland, March 5.

The total damage in the fire between Exmouth and Dundonald streets,' Auckland, is considered to be about £15,000. The building occupied by Allen and Vibert Ltd-., was insured for £lOOO in the New Zealand Insurance Company and their stock and plaht for £l2OO in Lloyds. The largest premises in the block, owned by Robinson Brothers, and occupied by Tyler’s and the Royal Clothing Factory, were insured for £2500 in the South British Company. The Royal Clothing Company’s, contents were insured for £l6OO in the South British Company- Moore and Co.'s stock and machinery were insured for £1750 in the South British Company Tyler's stock was insured for £l5O. IT.e building owned by George Savvey was insured for £9OO, and AV. H. Young's works, stock and sundries for £5OO.
