BABBATH DESECRATION.

Dunedin, March 8. The main discussion at the Presbyterian Assembly this morning was on the Life and Work report, which deplored Sabbath desecration. The Rev. Hunt (Auckland) stated that in country district* motor cars had practically killed Sabbath Schools while, so far as Sabbath desecration was concerned, the present Government was the worst the country had ever had. The Assembly should make a unanimous protest against the way Sunday was being desecrated officialiy by the authorities.
