London, Nov. 11. In a fortnight’s time limit billiards match at Leeds, Lindrum has scored 1624. including 307, 262 and 201, and Smith, ■ playing. has scored 2041, including 264 and 456. In a similar match at Manchester, McConachy. playing, has scored 2151, including 225, 301. 445, 322 aim 406 unfinished, and Davis has scored 1373, including 348. Lindrum was in a more subdued mood at Leeds, where at the evening session Smith had such a mastery over the balls that ho gradually drew ahead, despite tho fact that ho has a slight cold. McConachy, playing most consistently against Davis, built up a useful lead. The "Daily Chronicle's” sporting writer says I,indrum regards the conditions for the British open championship ns farcical and may take a stand with Smith, who has announced that ho is not competing this year.
