INTOXICATED MOTORISTS

TWO FINED AT DANNEVIRKR. LICENSES CANCELLED. (Per Press Association.) Dannavlrks, Nov. 12. Charles Alfred Herbert, a fanner, of Maharahara, was convicted by the Magistrate. Mr. Miller, on a charge of being intoxicated whilst in charge of a motor car in the main street. He was fined £4O and his license was cancelled for six months. The prosecution was a sequel to a collision, in which nobody Was hurt. A Maori named George Manihera was also convicted of being drunk in charge of a car and was fined £2O and had his license cancelled for twelve rponths. The native defendant ran into' a bridge on the main road.
