ANOTHER ONE IN CHRISTCHURCH IPer Press Association.) Christchurch, Sept. 2. Fire broke out mysteriously at the store of Jones Brothers, motor cyclo agents, Bedford Row, last night, causing damage amounting to several hundreds to stock. No employee had been on t.he premises for 24 hours. The insurance on the stock was ££6,000 in tho Guardian, State and Phoenix Offices. Tho six-roomed residence of R. B. Barnett, piano tuner, Saunders road, Ashburton, was destroyed by fire at midday yesterday. Only two or three small articles of furniture were saved. The family had left for the country some time before the discovery of the fire. Tho insurances on the house arc about £6oo.—Press Association.
